Executive Director
Has oversight of all Atkins House Programs assuring adherence to purposes and policies established by the Board of Directors. She is responsible for assuring adequate funding for all existing and proposed programs. She promotes community relations and public awareness of issues related to women offenders.
Associate Director
Oversees the Residential Program and organizes trainings to meet staff needs. She assures implementation of and adherence to written policies. She is responsible for the American Correctional Association accreditation project.
Administrative Assistant
Assures compliance with financial policies of the agency. Provides administrative support to the Executive Director. She maintains records of all financial transactions and provides a monthly financial report to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.
Case Managers
Coordinate resident services. They develop a master goal plan with residents and monitor the resident’s progress on a weekly basis. The Case Managers prepare all necessary releases and letters for all agencies that residents utilize. They provide information to DOC personnel for parole summaries.
Staff Aides
Are responsible for the care, custody and control of residents during the day and night hours. They make log entries documenting occurrences on their shift. Staff Aides are responsible for answering incoming phone calls. They monitor resident’s entry and exit from the houses.
Residential Assistant
Maintains control and care of residents and residential buildings. She performs resident chore inspections weekly. She does a daily walk-through of house to ensure cleanliness. The Resident Assistant coordinates spring and fall housecleaning. She does the weekly shopping for the residents.
Facilities Support Clerk
Is responsible for the management of buildings and grounds. In his part time position, he assures proper maintenance of the facilities. He assesses repair needs and makes repairs if possible.
HIV/AIDS Education Counselor
Provides individual risk assessment, and counseling and conducts education groups for women offenders and ex-offenders at Atkins House and York County Prison. She helps the women develop risk reduction plans.
